Tomorrow Sunday 7/14 Semiahmoo near Blaine south towards Birch Bay. It'll be a rare tidal situation that's not low tide mudflats in afternoon. Positive tides all day. Launch at Semiahmoo spit park at 10am paddle for 4-5 few hours. Water is warm here so could practice some wet exits and rescues. About 14 miles RT if we cross the bay to interesting Pt Whitehorn. 11 miles if turn around at north side of Birch Bay. Not a technically difficult trip but dress for immersion, be ready to paddle against sea breezes. I'm not a "full speed ahead "paddler.
