Temperatures are supposed to peak Wednesday in the 80s, with mild winds in the forecast. Come cool off on the water with your fellow WAKE paddlers!

As usual, we will be paddling south along the shore of Bellingham Bay to Clark's Point and back. Moderate pace (3-4 knots or whatever the group decides). Be sure to RSVP.

With the summer season, parking at Boulevard Park is pretty tight. Consider the CBC launch as the easier option (although that's pretty busy, too).

When: Wed., July 17. 5pm launch from south-end beach at Boulevard Park. Stopping at the Community Boat Center launch around 5:05 to pick up anyone leaving from there. Please be ready to launch on time.
Route: Southbound along the shore to the end of Clark's Point (around 6.5 miles).
Conditions: Sun. Wind 3-8 knots (depending on the forecast).
Dress: Be ready for warm air and moderately cold water. Always a pain to dress properly for this time of year. Neoprene and/or a dry top or drysuit recommended. If you are gear limited, email me and I might have something you can use.
Skill Level: Level 2.
RSVP: Please text, call or email Warren Cornwall at 360-296-0522, cornwallw@gmail.com
