Come paddling this Wednesday and stick around for the bonus ending at Stone's Throw Brew Pub. After the water portion of the evening is over, I plan to do a quick change and adjourn to Stone's Throw for fish and chips and a cold one. All are welcome to join me at 1009 Larrabee Ave. in Fairhaven.

As usual, we will be paddling south along the shore of Bellingham Bay to Clark's Point and back. Moderate pace (3-4 knots or whatever the group decides). Be sure to RSVP.

With the summer season, parking at Boulevard Park is pretty tight. Consider the CBC launch as the easier option (although that's pretty busy, too).

When: Wed., July 24. 5pm launch from south-end beach at Boulevard Park. Stopping at the Community Boat Center launch around 5:05 to pick up anyone leaving from there. Please be ready to launch on time.
Route: Southbound along the shore to the end of Clark's Point (around 6.5 miles).
Conditions: Sun. High of 70F. Forecast is a little breezy (wind up to 10 knots). But we'll see how that evolves in the next few days.
Dress: Be ready for warm air and moderately cold water. Always a pain to dress properly for this time of year. Neoprene and/or a dry top or drysuit recommended. If you are gear limited, email me and I might have something you can use.
Skill Level: Level 2.
RSVP: Please text, call or email Warren Cornwall at 360-296-0522, cornwallw@gmail.com
