About this event
This is an overnight paddle, there is also a separate day paddle signup .
We will be leaving about 9 AM from Gooseberry Point, crossing and paddling South along Lummi Island to the DNR campsite.
Toilets available at the ferry terminal on Lummi Island and pit toilet at the camp site.
Skill level: Level III.
Route:
The trip is about 6 nm each way and we expect very little current. Dress for cold water immersion (wet suit, dry suit) and bring work clothes and camping gear. There is no water available at the campsite.
At the campsite, we will meet up with the day paddle group, have lunch (BYO) and perform some camp cleanup and trail maintenance (bring pruners, trimming tools).
Dinner will be provided to all registered attendees (BYOB). Home made Pizza (not gluten free but you choose the toppings) and salad.
Leave camp about noon on Monday to return.
