WAKE Wednesday Paddle: July 3, 5pm

About this event
Time for a pre-Independence Day paddle in Bellingham Bay. Wednesday's forecast calls for sunshine and mild breezes. Lovely conditions for being on the water. First launch is at 5pm. Hope to see you there.
As usual, the route will go south along the shore of Bellingham Bay to Clark's Point and back. Moderate pace (3-4 knots or whatever the group decides). Be sure to RSVP.
With the summer season, parking at Boulevard Park is pretty tight. Consider the CBC launch as the easier option (although that's pretty busy, too).
When: Wed., July 3. 5pm launch from south-end beach at Boulevard Park. Stopping at the Community Boat Center launch around 5:05 to pick up anyone leaving from there. Please be ready to launch on time.
Route: Southbound along the shore to the end of Clark's Point (around 6.5 miles).
Conditions: Sun with some clouds, wind 3-5 knots.
Dress: Be ready for warm air and cold water. Always a pain to dress properly for this. Neoprene and/or a dry top or drysuit recommended. If you are gear limited, email me and I might have something you can use.
Skill Level: Level 2.
RSVP: Please text, call or email Warren Cornwall at 360-296-0522, cornwallw@gmail.com
